Local horticulturalist Betsy Williams has been growing, decorating and teaching how to decorate with herbs and flowers for nearly 40 years and she's imparting some of her experience once again on Oct. 20 at the Peabody Institute Library. Williams is offering some tips for Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations. She's also known to weave stories and legends through her lectures, as she includes history and plant lore.
