Danvers High School senior Michele Roy recently received a $7,500 scholarship in the Saving Your Future essay contest.
Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, State Treasurer Tim Cahill, Liberty Bay Credit Union, 98.5 The Sports Hub and the Bruins Radio Network presented Roy with the grand prize at Danvers High School.
In her essay, Roy wrote about saving money and how it influenced her life and how saving will have a lasting influence on her future.
