The Danvers Public Schools are offering a summer academy program in mathematics and literacy for students entering second, third and fourth grade in the fall of 2011.

Students will receive instruction from Danvers elementary teachers who have built the summer program to match the needs of the English Language Arts and math curriculum used in the district.

Academy sessions will be held at Highlands Elementary Tuesday to Thursday from 8-11 a.m. between July 5 and July 28. Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from the academy.

There is a $200 registration fee payable to the Danvers Public Schools. The deadline to register is April 15.
