20-Year-Old Found With Heroin, Methadone in Stolen Vehicle

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police department log, Thursday, Feb. 2 through Sunday, Feb. 5.
Thursday, Feb. 2
- 5:46 p.m. Larceny from a vehicle parked at the Liberty Tree Mall was reported to police.
- 6:35 p.m. Two dogs were reported loose on Grove Street.
Friday, Feb. 3
- 8:43 a.m. Police arrested Joan McLearen, 47, of 801 Manor Rd., in Beverly, on charges of operating with a suspended license, and operating with a suspended/revoked vehicle registration.
- 9:50 a.m. Identity theft was reported at Days Inn.
- 1:21 p.m. Police were made aware of a residence on Pine Street that was maliciously damaged with graffiti.
- 3:57 p.m. A 46-year-old Salem man was placed in protective custody after police were dispatched to the Days Inn on report of an intoxicated male in the lobby.
- 8:23 p.m. Police were on patrol and came across a stolen vehicle on Old Maple Street. Police arrested Gary Reid, 33, of 95 Martenson St., in Quincy, on charges of receiving a stolen vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Kaylee Pyne, 20, of 163 Orton Marotta VY, in South Boston, was arrested on charges of receiving a stolen vehicle, and possession of Class A (heroin) and Class B (methadone tablets) drugs.
Saturday, Feb. 4
- 3:53 p.m. A juvenile was reported shoplifting at Kohl's.
- 9:59 p.m. Eggs were reportedly thrown at a vehicle at Burger King. Police spoke with the people in question.
Sunday, Feb. 5
- 9:40 a.m. A neighbor dispute was reported on Hemlock Street.
- 11:46 a.m. An altercation between two men at Market Basket was reported.
- 9:49 p.m. A person was reported sleeping in his vehicle parked at the Essex Aggie Administration Building.
- 11:32 p.m. Police arrested Peter Sorlien, 62, of 17.5 State St., in Marblehead, on charges of domestic assault and battery.
