OPA! Saint Val's Greek Festival Friday Through Sunday

The three-day festival at the St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody starts up Friday evening and includes ethnic dancing, live music, games, a country store, boutiques, religious items, a raffle and more food. Yum! 

Walk for Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston

This year's Walk for Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston is being hosted at St. John's Prep on Sunday morning. Registrations begin at 8 a.m., for a 9 a.m. start. 

Howl-O-Ween Dog Walk and Costume Parade

A dog costume parade, games, prizes, and more will be at Endicott Park from 10 to 3 on Sunday, with all proceeds benefitting the German Shepherd Resource and Rescue Center, Inc. Patch contributor Bob Roche will be at the event -- if you see him, be sure to say hi and get your pet's photo taken for our gallery!

The Misfits with Crimson Bile

Looking to get into the Halloween spirit? The New England Concerts presents the Misfits with Crimson Bile at the The Palace Ballroom on 50 Ferncroft Road on Sunday, Oct 16, at 2:30 p.m.

Party In Pink Zumbathon®

Are you a Zumba fan? This Sunday the Boston North Fitness Centers in Danvers is offering 90 minutes of heart pumping fun to benefit Susan G Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Research Foundation! There will be raffles and prizes, all benefiting the foundation, from 1-2:30 p.m.
