1. Tonight at 7 p.m., the Peabody Institute Library is hosting 'The Colonial Midwives of Essex County.'  Dr Abby Chanlder, Associate Professor of Early American History at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, will be discussing her research into the legal roles of colonial midwives in Essex County Massachusetts.
