1. Weather: After yesterday's fall-like temperatures, the heat returns today. Highs will be in the upper 80's with sun.

3. Drivers beware: There will be some delays in the area of Pulaski Street in Peabody today due to paving. 

4. Want to soak up one of summer's last nights? Head to Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich for tonight's final concert: Orville Giddings Band | Boogie Blues.

5. Don't forget: The municipal parking lot behind New Brother's Deli, at 31 Maple Street, will be closed beginning at 5 a.m. Thursday, August 30, for paving. Vehicles in the parking lot after that time will be towed at the owner's expense. The lot is expected to reopen at 5 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012.
