5 Things You Need to Know Today, August 10
Events at the Danvers Senior Center, an informational talk for parents, and our Facebook poll are featured in today's five things you need to know.
Start your morning in-the-know with our five things to know today, Wednesday August 10:
1. There are three events happening this morning at the Danvers Senior Center: Waffle Wednesday at 9 a.m., a Birthday Luncheon at 10 a.m., and Breakfast Club at 10:30 a.m.
2. Tonight, Brain Balance is offering a free Educational Parent Talk about the Brain Balance program and the science behind developmental disabilities and disorders including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and more. Families, kids, and teens are all welcomed to attend the event, from 6:15-7:30 p.m.
3. It looks like another rainy day -- Scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted by the National Weather Service, mainly before 1 p.m.--followed by cloudy skies and a high near 82 degrees. But, if you're missing the summer sun - don't worry! Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are all looking clear.
4. Don't forget to send us your favorite recipes or restaurants in Danvers that have a peach dish or drink on the menu, and we'll include them in this week's Patch Picks. Send your submissions to Editor Molly Buccini.
5. Did you vote in yesterday's Facebook poll? If not, head over to our Facebook page, and stay tuned for Social Media Saturday for the results.
