Today is Friday, Feb. 4. Here are five things you need to know:
- Today’s weather: Sunny, with a high near 32 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, although factoring in the wind chill, temperatures could drop as low as -1. The low for tonight is around 19 degrees.
- Winter ball tickets: You can still buy tickets to the YMCA’s annual Winter Ball tomorrow. Tickets are $50 each.
- Falcons’ basketball: The boys host the Sachems tonight (7 p.m.) while the Lady Falcons travel to Saugus.
- Crafts for Valentines: Try your hand at a candy photo frame for Valentine’s Day. A special free workshop is being offered at Michael’s this afternoon.
- Camp info session: Meet the directors of the Maine Arts Camp in an informal question and answer session this evening at the Courtyard Marriott.
