The pair from New Hampshire accused of abusing a child were allegedly spotted at the Walmat in Danvers on Friday.
A couple that’s been on the run since dropping off a badly abused child at a New Hampshire emergency room last week was allegedly spotted at Walmart on Friday.
A couple from Plaistow, N.H. allegedly dropped off a badly abused 3-year-old boy at the Exeter Hospital emergency room last week and have been on the run.
Jessica Linscott, 23 — the mother of the boy — and her boyfriend, Roland Dow, 27, were possibly in the Walmart on Brooksby Village Way in Danvers on Friday afternoon.
Danvers police were called to Walmart at 1:10 p.m. on Friday, according to the Danvers police activity log because somebody reported seeing the couple. Officers reported that the call was unfounded.
Dow is facing charges of first- and second-degree assault for allegedly hitting the child in the head and burning his fingers and wrist.
It was at least the fourth time this week that the pair were said to be spotted on the Noth Shore.
Police received a tip that Linscott and Dow were seen in a car at Honey Dew Donuts on Western Avenue in Lynn on Wednesday.
NECN reported that Lynn police issued an alert that the couple might be riding in a red, late-90s Volvo with green bumper stickers and a luggage rack.
Police said earlier that the couple may have been seen in Swampscott on Tuesday and Salem police said the couple were supposedly seen near the MBTA station in Salem on Thanksgiving.
