Anthony’s Italian Deli & Pasticceria opened April 23 at 2 High St., most recently the former home of the Sweet Heart Bake Shop.

Anthony's Deli closed its doors at the end of 2011, and the 2 High St. location is currently vacant.
Before Anthony's, the spot was the former home of the Sweet Heart Bake Shop.

I dont think any type of food place should be placed there, there is no parking and there is no convience to gettin to this corner.. But I do agree with M.MacDougall, should be a policing office. If I had the money and the power, it wouldnt be in this hole in the wall, where no one can get too easily.. I have seen fail after fail with this one area of Danvers... Stop with eateries in Danvers they dont survive in a small town like this..

If I had the funds I would love to open up my own photography studio there. Don't need much parking for that and good area but like above's comment, alot of businesses fail there do I'd be weary.

Nothing. There is ZERO reasonable parking there. Nothing will ever survive. I can't believe people have tried so many food shops there. Daily Harvest couldn't survive there. HORRIBLE location.

I think a penny candy/ice cream buffet store, targeting kids and teens. Teens like to walk, eliminates the lack of parking issues and kids and teens have money to spend.

Anything retail will fail because of parking there. Too difficult to run in for a quick takeout. Won't work. The last couple were good ideas that would have worked somewhere else.

The last 2 places there weren't bad. What killed them is the location. When you get your nails done, you have set aside an hour, or have an appointment, that is completely different than being able to pull over to the side of the road, run in, grab a sandwich, chips and soda and leave. That type of business will NEVER work there.
