Assisted Suicide: What Does Your Vote Mean on Question 2?

On Tuesday, Massachusetts voters will be asked to vote on three questions along with the state and federal political races.
Question 2 is regarding whether doctors should be allowed to prescribe medication to end life.
"This proposed law would allow a physician licensed in Massachusetts to prescribe medication, at a terminally ill patient’s request, to end that patient’s life," the Massachusetts Secretary of State's website says.
In Danvers, Question 2 is the first question on page 2 of the two page ballot.
According to the website a "yes" vote would allow for the prescription of life-ending medication.
A "no" vote would make no change to the current law and keep the practice illegal.

The most respected medical organizations in the state have come out AGAINST Question 2 (assisted suicide): The Massachusetts Medical Society, The Massachusetts Academy of Family Physicians, The American Medical Directors Association, The Massachusetts Osteopathic Society. Also, the American Medical Association (AMA), the American College of Physicians, the American Nurses Association, and The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization are some of the other organizations that are opposed to physician-assisted suicide.

Under this law, if you commit suicide does it negate your life insurance? Don't most policies have a provision that if you commit suicide insurance company does not have to pay?
