Boys Hockey Advances to Div. 2 North Finals

The Danvers High School boys hockey team won its Div. 2 North semifinal game on Monday night.

 

The Danvers High School boys hockey team defeated Lincoln-Sudbury 5-3 on Monday night and is now headed to the Div. 2 North finals next Monday in Lowell.

It will be the first appearance for Danvers in the North finals since 2005, reports the Salem News.

The Falcons (13-6-4) will meet defending state champion Wilmington High School (19-3-2) in the finals. Wilmington advanced with a dominating 6-0 win on Monday night over Lincoln-Sudbury.

The Div. 2 North finals will be played on Monday, March 11 at Tsongas Arena in Lowell. An exact game time has not yet been announced. The winner advances to the state championship at TD Garden.
