Daily Harvest Cafe To Open Second Location in Danvers
Daily Harvest Cafe owner Brittany Raesley announced this week via Facebook her plans to open a second cafe.
Daily Harvest Cafe fans expressed their excitement on Facebook after the announcement made on the Daily Harvest Facebook Page this week put an end to speculation, and confirmed what insiders had been whispering about for some time: Daily Harvest Cafe is opening a second branch at Cherry Hill Office Park.
The new cafe will have a larger dining room, an area for comfy seating and outdoor seating, according to Beth Desmond, who has worked closely with owner Brittany Raesly since the original cafe opened in 2007.
Perhaps most importantly, the new space will accommodate the cafe’s growing catering demands. “We do a lot of catering at Cherry Hill, so the location makes a lot of sense,” she explained. “There will be a spot for meetings, so Brittany can meet with clients and go over menus, out of the way of the cafe customers.”
The Daily Harvest recently made news in the Danvers Patch when it was awarded the Best Of Patch Readers' Choice in the Best Breakfast category. Customers have considered he Daily Harvest as their daytime meal destination in Danvers since it opened in 2007.
Specializing in sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads-and of course, a full menu of hot and cold cafe beverages, Cafe Owner Brittany Riesly credits her success to the freshness of the ingredients, and by interesting menu combinations, like the Thai inspired chicken wrap and the California Reuben from the grill, with smoked turkey and sauerkraut.
“I have an option when buying things like the cheese; most places go for the least expensive, so they make larger profits. I feel like spending the extra 50 cents is better because people want to know what they are putting in their body is healthy,” she said."When I see customers enjoying themselves, whether it's their first time or their tenth time, it makes me happy -- I guess I'm a people pleaser.”
By most accounts, customers and employees alike are pleased to hear news of the cafe’s expansion into the Cherry Hill Industrial Park locale.
“I’m really excited for Brittany, this is a great opportunity, and will help get her name out there,” Desmond said. “I’ve been able to see the business grow and expand from the very beginning, so it’s exciting for me to see what else she’ll do!”
The new cafe is projected to open this summer, and will be open Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm.
