This is a totally No class article.
Why dont you run one on who's paint looks the worst?
Or maybe who gets paid the least in Danvers?

Just wanted to say I agree with you, I think this article is offensive and unnecessary. Yes, it's all public information, and anyone bored enough to want to research this can do so. But making an actual (or online) newspaper article about it just feels wrong to me. If my friends and family saw my home on this list I'd be "lovingly" taunted about it til the day I die! Also, wanted to say that with the exception of this article I really do enjoy The Patch!

Also , this implies that Mobile Homes are not in fact homes....

Does a home need a pitched roof to qualify?

I would be horrified if the Danvers patch listed my home and its value with a map so people could click and see where it was. No Class.

"Do you realize that all of this is all public information? Also, did you buy your home on July 27, 2007 for $249,900 from Kris Hardenbrook and Allison Drew?"

Wrong. Just becuase they print it on the internet doesnt mean its true.

Also , my comment about the article having no class was about the ARTICLE , not the person writing it. We all say and write things the aren't classy. I do it all the time. I am in no way suggesting that the person writing this meant to offend people or has no class.

I just simply think if that where my house or my parents i'd feel bad, and i bet many other people would too.

Again, one of the issues with this is its based on public record which isn't always accurate. Broheim, your attempt to show off some internet skills has proven this. It's not correct.

Nice Links - But read them and answer that question. You got your information wrong.

Hi Andrew, I'm sorry to hear you were upset by this look at real estate in Danvers. Small does not, by any means, suggest "worst." All of our information was compiled through realtor.com, so if you live in Danvers, your home and its estimated value are available to the public. We have a complete section of real estate columns, ranging from largest to smallest, most expensive to least expensive.

In terms of why mobile homes are not listed, we looked at the single-family homes with the smallest square footage--mobile home data is available, but it is not classified under the same category.

I have to agree with Andrew and Jennifer - what a ridiculous article. The fact that this is all public information is completely irrelevant- To list all the smallest houses in danvers in one article, with a MAP showing where they are is just absurd. Like the previous poster mentioned, I would be mortified if my house was listed on here. Nothing better to spend your time doing Danvers patch staff? I dont know who the current editor is, but doesnt seem like much thought has been going into this lately. I personally have noticed Danvers Patch going down hill since the previous editor left.

Just because it is on public record does not mean it needs to be published with a map and details. What's next? A tour guide? Hey Molly, how about showing the world your home, its value, and of course a map so we can drive by and check it out.
After all, it is on public record.

I thought it was a rule of this site that we had to use our full names? In fact, I was chastised once on here for using only my first name. So why is Broheim allowed to post under a false name? Also, why is he allowed to tell another poster he has no brain, and act like a psycho stalker and post personal information about other posters? I flagged his comment as inappropriate and nothing happened. When I posted my comment the other day I got a "pending approval" message, I would assume he got the same? Is it because he said the editor is doing a great job? What gives?

It would seem that Broheim doesn't have the guts to use his full name. Probably afraid someone might look him up on that public record of which he speaks.

"So why is Broheim allowed to post under a false name? Rules said no name calling, but yeah , he did say great job on the article.

Maybe you can only name call and and kinda semi stalky if you agree and say great job. Hmm. That sounds reasonable.

Hey everyone, Our intention when running this was not to hurt any feelings and we're very sorry if we have. We have heard from several readers that they love our real estate stories which have covered a variety of topics in the past. We appreciate all your opinions about this and will keep them in mind as we come up with story ideas in the future. As for the comment section, we do ask everyone to use their real, full name. Comments that are flagged 3 times by users, are removed from the site. As always, feel free to reach out to us at Patch with any comments or suggestions.

Does the full name rule not apply to Broheim? I would not flag his comments as inappropriate. He should be free to insult anyone he likes. Just like Molly. But what is an opinion worth without a name?
Sorry....just some grumbling from a "sensitive" Danvers resident.

Has it occurred to the other sensible types that Brohiem might be a little more familiar or connected to the patch then us? Because again, the rules state that we have to use our names, hence I used mine, but the rule apparently doesn't apply to him. He's probably the Patches web person, or a friend of the Patch. But i don't know. He knows who I am and can splash it all over the internet, but we don't get to see who HE is. Something smells funky...and the longer they leave it uncorrected and in blatant violation of their posting rules that they have apparently enforced before with others, the more this looks like their in house guy.

We do ask that everyone respect the rules laid out in the terms of use. Patch's comment section is self-policing so if you see something inappropriate, flagging the comment three times will remove the comment from the site. Brohiem's comments have been removed from the site. We do ask that Brohiem go by his real name as well.

@Broheim: I did not call you a psycho stalker. I said you were ACTING like one. What you did was wrong. Do you do it on a regular basis and therefore really ARE a psycho stalker? I guess it's possible, but I don't stalk you and therefore can't answer that.
