Danvers resident Ryan Gibbons, daughter of Kevin and Cheryl Gibbons, played the role of Grace in Kelly Martin's “Oz University” in Curry College Theatre's Black Box production of The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival this past weekend.

Gibbons is a 2011 graduate of Danvers High School, where she appeared in productions of Cabaret and in Night of the Living Dead.

Currently a sophomore majoring in communication, Gibbons has been seen on the Curry Theatre stage as The Infanta of Spain in Oscar Wilde's “The Birthday of The Infanta” as part of last spring's production of “Twisted Tales.”

The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival showcases original student 5-10 minute one act plays.
