• Description: This is another sweet painting that came from an auction in the Lakes/White Mountains Region of New Hampshire. It is a seascape signed by James Maxner of Danvers, Massachusetts.  The is entitled, "Rough Sailing".  It depicts a rough day on the ocean for several sailboats or sloops, and in the upper left hand corner it looks like steamer is coming into view.  The blues and greens in the painting bring you back to the ocean and are just lovely.

3. 1911 Print Chairs Table Lindens Peabody Manson Danvers

• Description: This is an original 1911 halftone print of three chairs and a table in "The Lindens," the Francis Peabody Estate in Danvers, Massachusetts, built in 1745 (1754?) for "King" Hooper. It also served as the headquarters of the British General and Massachusetts Governor, General Thomas Gage, in 1774. The house was moved to the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C. in 1935. This 99+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. No aging. No creases. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is printing on the reverse.
