Danvers Man Injured In Motorcycle Accident
Tonight a motorcycle accident at the Route 1 and North Street intersection resulted in the operator being transported to the hospital.
A Danvers male traveling on a motorcycle was struck by a white sedan at the intersection of Route 1 and North Street tonight at approximately 6:45 p.m.
The Danvers Fire Department said the male was in his mid-40's and sustained wounds to his arms and legs. Officials only had preliminary information, but did say that the man was conscious, alert, and in pain.
He was transported to Beverly Hospital by Lyons Ambulance Service and was placed in a neck collar as a precaution.
