Danvers Man Rushed to Boston After Three-Story Fall
OSHA and police detectives are investigating the Federal Street industrial accident.
Richard Cross, 26, of Danvers was transported to a Boston hospital Wednesday after falling three stories from the roof of the Marden Apartments at 43 Federal St. in Salem.
Police received the call that a male "fell down and landed on the ground at 3:06 p.m.," Sgt. Kate Stephens of the said.
Police said the male fell approximately 40 feet and landed on the pavement outside the building, which is located across from the courthouse.

A Medflight, which was intially called, was canceled due to weather.
Stevens said Cross was immediately transported to a Boston hospital via Atlantic Ambulance.

When responders arrived they said the male's eye were open, but he was not speaking.
"He was hurting," Stephens said.
Police said they were unable to comment further due to HIPA restrictions.
