Tequila's Restaurant closed its doors in June 2009, and the 80 Newbury St. location is still vacant.

In May 2011, the Danvers Board of Selectmen revoked the all-alcoholic license Tequila's held. When Tequila’s filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and defaulted on a loan from the bank, Danversbank had since been working on finding a license buyer.

Their license was later one of the three granted to downtown establishments this past summer.

Now, just for fun, we want you to tell us what you think should go there. If you had the funds and power to place any new business in the location, what would it be?

Let us know in the comments.
