Head-on Collision Forces Closure of Locust Street Northbound (Route 35)
Two cars met head-on. Crews are clearing the scene, but traffic is closed on Locust Street northbound and very slow going southbound.

A section of Route 35 is closed as emergency crews deal with the aftermath of a head-on collision between two cars.
Danvers Patch Editor Robert Gates reports from the scene that Locust Street northbound is closed at Wenham Street. In the opposite direction along Locust, which is also Route 35, traffic is moving very slowly.
Crews are making progress clearing debris and the road closure probably won't last too much longer, Gates reports.
Two injured people were taken to Beverly Hospital, according to reports and as witnessed by Gates.
