IMAGE GALLERY: Downtown in Full Swing for the Holidays

Crowds turned out Saturday afternoon for the annual holiday festival in downtown Danvers, which included lots of free goodies from local merchants, Santa and the lighting of the Christmas tree in the square.

The 30-foot tall White Fir, seen here pre-lighting ceremony, was donated by Green Chiropractic and decorated by the Danvers Garden Club with help from the Department of Public Works. Danvers Electric strung the lights.

The downtown was filled with crowds, local merchants and fun activities and goodies Saturday afternoon for the annual holiday festival. The afternoon is capped off with the lighting of the Christmas tree in the square for the holiday season.
