Danvers police are urging holiday shoppers to observe some basic safety precautions while out and about, whether at the mall or local merchants. Here are three tips:
- "Don't leave valuables or shopping bags in plain view in your vehicle while you're in the mall."
- "Keep your purse or wallet on your person, not in your carriage, at all times."
- "Don't put down shopping bags from previous purchases when looking at new merchandise!"
