Malloy: Enjoying the Great Outdoors

Dave Malloy runs the Crane Reservation and enjoys the outdoors both at work and at home with his family.

Family: Fiancé, Cheryl Notareomaso, daughters McKenzie, 10 and Alexandra, 7. They also have two dogs and a guinea pig.

Occupation: Operations Manager for the Trustees of Crane Reservation in Ipswich. Dave oversees 85 employees that include life guards, snack bar and bathhouse employees.

Dave has been involved with the Green Dogs Program there and would like to help out with the Danvers Dog Park initiative as well.

Hobbies:  Dave enjoys hanging out with his family, playing tennis and basketball.

Favorite Book: Rabbit, Run by John Updike

Favorite Movie: “I have too many to say.”

Dream Vacation: “Sailing around the Virgin Islands.”

How Long have you lived in Danvers: 5 years

Why did you choose Danvers: Dave grew up in Danvers and moved away during college. He lived in Vermont, New Hampshire and in Salem while he ran the Whale Watch Co. “When I was looking for a home, Danvers was perfect! It’s a great town, convenient, and everyone seems friendly like they know you."

Where will people see you around town: “I can be found at Endicott Park, walking the dogs on the trails and having fun with my kids”.

What would you like to see changed in town: “I think 114 is overdeveloped.  I remember the working farms, and would have stopped before it was so built up."
