The Danvers Pack 16 Cub Scouts recently held their Annual Pinewood Derby with all shapes, colors and designs of racing cars.

The Danvers Pack 16 Cub Scouts recently held their annual Pinewood Derby at the Maple Street Congregational Church.

There were several local sponsors, including Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 114, Extra Innings, Panini Pizzeria, Danvers House of Pizza, Rocco’s House of Pizza and Original Giovanni’s.

The 2011 Great Eastern District-Wide Pinewood Derby is scheduled for March 12 at St. John’s Church, 19 Chestnut St., Peabody. Check-in and registration starts at 10 a.m. with the races beginning with the Tiger Division at 11 a.m.
