Parking Ban Activated for Thursday Night
Parking will be banned on Danvers streets on Thursday night (Friday morning) to assist with snow removal.
The on-street parking ban will begin at 1 a.m. on Friday and run until 6 a.m.
The ban prohibits parking on all Danvers streets from 1-6 a.m. The DPW will make an announcement when the ban has ended.
Vehicles parked on the street during the ban are subject to towing. Cars that are towed are charged $125 for the tow, $35 for storage and $15 for the parking ticket.
"Thank you for your cooperation as we work to make the streets safe during the coming storm," the DPW said in its announcement of the ban.
