Police Identify Pedestrian Killed on Route 114 Wednesday Night

A male was struck and killed on Route 114 on Wednesday evening.

 

Danvers Police identified the victim involved in a pedestrian accident on Route 114, Wednesday night. 

At 8:20 p.m., troopers responded to reports of a Ford Ranger striking a male in his mid-40's on Route 114 Westbound, in front of the Kelly Infiniti Dealership.

The victim, Christopher Schlosser, was unresponsive when police arrived on the scene, Danvers Police Captain Patrick Ambrose told the Boston Globe.

Scanner reports indicated a Medflight had been requested, but was cancelled soon after. Schlosser was transferred to Beverly Hospital where he was pronounced dead soon after.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, Christopher Giurleo, 25, of Lynn cooperated with police, Ambrose told the Globe, and there are no pending charges.
