Danvers Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery at the Comfort Inn early Sunday morning. 

As of 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Lt. Carole Germano said the incident remained under investigation and officers were still on the scene. Germano said no other information could be released at that time.

According to scanner reports, a man in a pickup truck outside the Dayton Street motel told a woman "he had a gun and would use it" before robbing her.
