Police Observe Danvers Man Stealing Tires

The following is an excerpt from the Danvers Police log. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police department log, Sunday, Jan. 22 through Tuesday, Jan. 24:

Sunday, Jan. 22

  • At 11:31 p.m. police receieved notice of more than $250 stolen from Target.
  • Intoxicated patrons were spoken to by police at McDonalds at 11:59 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 23 

  • At 12:35 a.m. police placed a 43-year-old Danvers man in protective custody.
  • A residence on Jacobs Avenue reported receiving harrassing phone calls at 2:29 a.m. 
  • A pocket book was reported stolen from a vehicle parked outside 28 Water St. at 4:08 p.m.
  • Luz Ferrand, 44, of 15 Linwood Place, in Lynn, was arrested at 8:04 p.m. on Maple Street. Ferrand was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

  • A 42-year-old Middleton male was placed in protective custody at 8:57 a.m.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen from Sylvan Street. at 11:31 a.m.
  • Officers were on patrol at 3:08 a.m. when they observed a 49-year-old Danvers male rolling tires and rims out from behind Hobart Street. When police asked the individual what he was doing, he said he had permission to take them, but when police later followed up with the resident, they said this was false. The suspect received a summons to court for larceny over $250.
