Potential Noreaster Could Bring Snow to Danvers

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook Tuesday through Sunday.

Will Danvers see its first snow storm of 2012 this week?

The National Weather Service said there is a chance, if temperatures get low enough.

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for much of southern New England, including Danvers, starting today, Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The outlook states there is a probability of accumulating snow in portions of interior southern New England late Wednesday night into Thursday.

However, the NWS said "uncertainty lies on whether or not it will be cold enough for accumulating snow or mainly just cold rain."

A wind advisory may also be needed on Wednesday night near the coast.

Current weather forecasts show Wednesday night with a low near 30 degrees, and Thursday's highs reaching up to 43 degrees.

Would you like to see snow, or are you enjoying a dry winter? Let us know in the comments.

A couple inches would be nice; otherwise I am very happy not having to shovel the driveway or clean off the car.

Last night the hazardous weather outlook was issued by the National Weather Service, but has since been lifted. However, snow/rain/sleet is still in the forecast for this week: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Danvers&state=MA&site=BOX&textField1=42.5719&textField2=-70.9511
