Purses Stolen From Vehicle At Proctor Farm Conservation

The following information was supplied by the Danvers police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department Log, Sunday, Aug. 28 through Tuesday, Aug 30:

Sunday, Aug. 28

  • At 5:02 p.m. police received report of possible suspicious activity and two trucks on the Rail Trail. When police arrived on the scene, there was no one there. 
  • A possible suspicious male with a flashlight was spoken to by police officers at Danversport Yacht Club at 7:46 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 29

  • At 11:04 a.m. police received notice of a keyed car at 98 Newbury Street. 
  • Baseball tickets were reported stolen from 1:23 p.m. at 435 Newbury St. 
  • Danielle Meunier, 21, of 8 Bayberry Rd. was arrested at her residence on charges of domestic assault and battery. 
  • Two purses were reported stolen from a vehicle at the Proctor Farm Conservation at 3 p.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen at the Liberty Tree Mall at 8:37 p.m.

Tuesday Aug. 30

  • Wires were reported stolen from a vehicle at Motel 6 at 6:06 a.m.
  • An attempted house break was reported at 9:32 a.m. on Centre Street. The back door to the house was damaged, but nothing was reported stolen. 
  • A 53-year-old male was placed into protective custody after a verbal domestic dispute. 
  • A female minor was arrested on charges of shoplifting at Kohls at 2:08 p.m.
