QUESTION: What's Your Favorite Thanksgiving Memory?
Share your Thanksgiving memories.
The holidays are all about family, traditions and memories. It’s a chance to reconnect with family and friends whether through a card, email, phone call or catching up over dinner.
Thanksgiving doesn’t have the cache of Christmas. There are no gifts or commercialism to distract us and because of this Thanksgiving is many people’s favorite holiday.
Every family has its own traditions and memories that bring a smile. That favorite memory might be a big football game, but most likely it’s a special moment you shared with a loved one -- possibly someone who has since passed away.

The year we had cooked a huge dinner and when we went to clean up there was no dishwasher detergent so I put dish soap in instead....the ensuing bubble explosion coming out of the machine caused everyone to jump up screaming....then laughing!

When I had my Siberian Husky, I loved how he would fall into a deep and heavy sleep at the end of the day after having so many people over, going on a couple of long walks, and having some turkey and potatoes.

My favorite tradition is to take a long walk with whoever in the family is up for it after Thanksgiving dinner when we're all stuffed . My least favorite Thanksgiving memory was two years ago when I had the flu--I was quarantined to my room by my family!

One Thanksgiving, the dog stole the turkey off the table moments before we came into the room to eat. That was classic.
