This week's Whiz Kid is seven year old Remy Lombardi.
On September 24, Lombardi, along with her dad Tony, joined the Andover Service Club to help out with the Special Field Games. The games are Andover's version of the Special Olympics, and this was Lombardi's second year in a row helping out at the event.
Remy and Tony were paired up with an athlete, Glenn and together they helped him to have a wonderful day, participating in a variety of athletic events.
"Remy was tired at the end of the day, but they had a lot of fun together," said mom Amanda Symmes.
When she is not volunteering her time, Lombardi is an active second grader at the Thorpe School, and she recently made the Danvers Dolfins swim team. She currently plays baseball and lacrosse, is learning to skate and also wants to try basketball this year.
