The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department log, Sunday, Aug. 14. through Tuesday, Aug. 16. 

Sunday, Aug 14.

• At 6:24 p.m. police arrested Lysa Elwell, 48, of 121 Central St., in Peabody, for shoplifting by price tag tampering at Walmart. 
• Two males reportedly stole the tip jar from Honey Dew Donuts at 7:53 p.m. The two fled from the store and got into a Ford Taurus operated by a female. 

Monday, Aug. 15

• Fernando Rodriguez, 30, of 51 Johnson St., in Lynn, was arrested at Motel 6 at 2:30 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing, and distribution of Class B substance (cocaine) and possession of Class B substance (cocaine).
• Malicious damage to a vehicle on Kirkbride Drive was reported after the owner found a broken window at 2:36 p.m. 
• An intoxicated 42-year-old male at Supreme Roast Beef was placed in protective custody at 1:10 p.m. 

Tuesday, Aug. 16

• At 9:45 a.m. police were made aware of cash stolen from a lockbox at Radius Healthcare. 
• A briefcase was reported stolen from Costco at 1:31 p.m. 
• An 18-inch symbol was reported stolen from a vehicle outside of the Guitar Center at 1:40 p.m. 
• At 5:00 p.m. police arrested Marilina Colon, 38, of 20 Daisey St., in Lawrence, for shoplifting at Walmart.
