Where to Buy the New iPhone 5 in Danvers
The much anticipated Apple iPhone 5 is going on sale Sept. 21.
The next generation iPhone is coming out later this week and there are a number of places in the Danvers area to buy it.
The Apple website points customers to, of course, the Apple Store at the North Shore Mall. But there are some Apple resellers right here in Danvers, including Best Buy and Target at the Liberty Tree Mall and Wal-Mart plus the Verizon Wireless kiosk inside BJ's.
In addition to the Apple Store, the iPhone is available at the Verizon Wireless store on Route 114 - in Peabody just over the town line. There's a total of eight places in Peabody to get the phone that also includes Radio Shack on Route 114 plus in the North Shore Mall at AT&T, Best Buy, Radio Shack and Verizon Wireless. The Sprint Store on Route 114 opposite the intersection with Sylvan Street also has it. Click on this link to search for a full list.
The smartphone officially goes on sale Sept. 21 at 8 a.m., but all stores may not stock the iPhone 5 immediately.
The new iPhone is thinner and lighter than the last two generations, but it is taller to accommodate a bigger screen. Apple says its processing speed is much faster than its predecessors, as well.
The iPhone 5 starts at $649.00, but the price can come down to as low as $200 with a cellular plan subscription.

You are correct. Thanks for the head's up David. They moved everything to the AT&T store at the North Shore Mall. The story has been updated to reflect that.
