Wife of White Hen Owner Wins with $1 Million Ticket at His Store
Susan Farid won $1 million in from a $20 "Lifetime Spectacular" scratch ticket.
The wife of the owner of White Hen Pantry on Route 1 won $1 million recently from the "Lifetime Spectacular" game.
Susan Farid of Haverhill will receive the prize in annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes) over 20 years.
She's a married mother of three and who works as a licensed social worker. She told the Massachusetts State Lottery that she plans to use the winnings for college tuition and for her retirement.
She bought the winning $20 ticket at White Hen Pantry, which is owned by her husband. The store will also get a $10,000 commission on the sale.
