5:30 a.m.: Danvers Public Schools are cancelled for the day.

6:50 a.m.: A car crash occurred on Maple Street near Interstate 95 and Route 1 with no injuries.

7:29 a.m. Liberty Tree Mall announces it will be open for its regular hours on Friday.

7:59 a.m. A car went off the road on Maple Street near I-95.

8 a.m.: High tide arrived with very few - if any - problems along the riverfront areas.

8:24 a.m: The Danvers Department of Public Works said that trash pickup will happen as usual on Friday.

9:30 a.m. There was a car crash in the parking lot at Extended Stay America. There were no reported injuries.

9:35 a.m. An car crash occurred on Route 62 at Route 128 involving a JRM Hauling trash truck. There were no injuries. A trash truck struck the bridge and the bridge was not damaged.

9:45 a.m. A car was of the road on Route 128 near Endicott Street. The woman who was driving was reportedly not injured.

10:31 p.m. A car crash in the parking lot at Massachusetts General Hospital-North Shore did not result in any injuries.

10:43 a.m. Orange Leaf says it is open for the day.

10:49 a.m. Little Shop of Treasures says it is open until 9 p.m.

11:32 a.m. Danversport Yacht Club announces that it is open for lunch.

11:50 a.m. A car crash occurred at the intersection of Centre and Prince streets. Nobody was hurt and one car was towed away.

11:50 a.m. Goodies Ice Cream announces that because the snowstorm is continuing it will be closed for the rest of the day.

11:47 a.m. Ira Toyota announces that it is open for business on Friday.

11:57 a.m. Mall Tots announces that it is postponing its Dr. Seuss Family Fun Night until next Friday, March 15.

12:02 p.m. Swag Consignment Boutique announces that it will be closed for the rest of the day because of the storm.

12:10 p.m. New England Dog Biscuit Co. on Maple Street says it is open for the day.

12:15 p.m. About 18 inches of snow has accumulated and it is still snowing at a moderate rate. Most roads are still snow-covered and slippery.

12:44 p.m. Cherry Farm Creamery announced that it will be open from 3-9 p.m.on Friday.

In an emergency, always call 911. A call from a landline in Danvers will go directly to the Danvers Emergency Center at the Danvers Police Department. A call from a cell phone will go to State Police headquarters in Framingham, where you can tell the dispatcher the location of your emergency and they will contact local dispatchers.
