Woman Caught Shoplifting Halloween Items at Walmart

The following are excerpts from the Danvers Police Department log, Wednesday, Oct. 26 through Thursday Oct. 27.
Wednesday, Oct. 26
- At 10:17 a.m. Danvers Auto Body reported receiving a scam letter.
- Larceny from a vehicle was reported at 10 Newbury St. at 1:40 p.m.
- At 2:16 p.m. a loose pitbull was reported at Highlands Elementary School.
- Police were dispatched to Costco Wholesale on report of a male drinking in his vehicle at 2:34 p.m. The situation was unfounded.
- Danvers Police assisted the Middleton Police Department at the protests against Scott Brown at Coco Key Hotel and Water Resort at 5:25 p.m.
Thursday Oct. 27
- An overnight vehicle break-in was reported on Madison Avenue at 9:50 a.m.
- At 12:54 police arrested Kristina Bishop, 22, of 245 Rantoul St., in Beverly, on charges of shoplifting Halloween items at Walmart, as well as on an outstanding warrant.
