Feeling adventurous, I decided against using the apples the recipe called for, opting instead to use what I had on hand: Bosch pears and fresh blueberries. The combination was so delicious, I had to share this out for Mothers Day; it's a great go-to dish, suitable for breakfast, brunch or dinner, and so easy you wont even notice spending those few minutes in the kitchen.  The best thing about …

Business Spotlight

New Downtown Studio Specializes in Quirkiness

New business owner, entrepreneur Lauren Poussard, said opening her photography studio was serendipity.

Lauren Poussard faced a conundrum in her youth, when presented with the question "what do I want to be when I grow up?" A whiz with numbers, she was naturally drawn toward a successful career in finance. Conversely, she displayed an undeniable knack for photography from her early years.
