Anything For the Children
Teddy Bears can't heal but they can show we care. In conjunction with a group in Maine, Tyngsboro resident, Lindsay Berman has begun a teddy bear drive. First posted on facebook I asked Lindsay (a friend and former client) if she would like Re/Max Prestige to be a drop off point. Of course she was delighted, as always Re/Max Prestige Brokers Stacey Alcorn and Andy Armata were there to help.

Happy to donate, Barbara! One thing I'd like to see is a big sign on the pick up locations, as many people don't read PATCH and have had no knowledge (other than word of mouth) about the Teddies. The school is also asking for snowflakes (any size, shape, etc) to be made and sent, so they can have a "winter wonderland" for the kids inside their new school upon their return. I've sent mine off today, as well as the donation of the teddie. I hope these will help the children, somewhat.

Sam, Thanks for your support! This was a quick drive put together last weekend. Maria Stephanos, tweeted it. put it on MyFOXBoston, I had it on the Intown Report thanks to Roy. We tried to get the Lowell Sun and Valley Patriot to no avail. We also had it on fb sites and tweets all week.

It's too bad the lowell sun and Valley Patriot wouldn't help. So many local people would love to have been able to do whatever they could, I'm sure. You did a great job, and I'm glad Chelmsford Patch got it on their page.
