Sure to please students and parents alike, Principal Susan Ambrozavitch has enthusiastically shared several new initiatives underway this year at Danvers High School. Progress on the high school renovation project of the North and South Cores continues and students will attend school at the Dunn Wing until the Friday prior to April vacation. After dropping out of nursery school and successfully thwarting all efforts to get me to go to kindergarten, I was sure that avoiding first grade would be a piece of cake. Boy, was I ever wrong. On Wednesday, Aug. 31, town officials including Town Manager Wayne Marquis, Superintendent Lisa Dana, and Chairman of the Board of Selectmen Dan Bennett, attended a two-hour tour of the maintenance projects that took place over the summer.
