North Shore Elder Services is made up of a team of specialists whose mission is to provide quality care to seniors and support their caregivers. The non-profit agency was founded in 1976 to serve the communities of Danvers, Marblehead, Middleton, Peabody and Salem and is largely funded under contracts with the state and federal government. The agency headquarters is located off Sylvan Street from which it provides case management, home care, meals, housing options, money management, referral services and more, as well as support, resources, workshops and solutions to caregivers. Agency representatives are often before local and state government officials advocating for policy and program changes.
