More About Endicott Park

Endicott Park

Endicott Park hosts many family activities from gardening to hay rides. The park's varied lanscape includes horse pastures, fields and meadows, historic farm buildings, orchards, community gardens, woodlands and marshes, and has a network of trails and dirt roads for stress-free and stroller-friendly exploration. There are recreational activities for all, from hiking, fishing, picnicking and enjoying the playground in warmer months, to sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter. Permits are required for groups wishing to reserve park facilities for picnics, reunions and other group events, and certain fees apply. Visit the website for information and an application. The Endicott Community Gardens, also referred to as the Victory Gardens - they were first planted during World War II, include the vegetable and flower gardens of nearly 100 local families. For a nominal fee, and based on a first-come, first-served basis, community members can lease plots of land for the growing season. Interested parties should contact a park ranger or call the park office.

Also located at Endicott Park, but separately managed and operated by the Danvers Historical Society, is Glen Magna Farms.
