Healing Service on Third Friday
The monthly Third Friday Service offers worship, a guest speaker on a topic relevant to healing, then an opportunity to receive confidential prayer ministry. Healing does happen, thanks be to God.
More About Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church
Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church began its ministry at the former St. Alphonsus Church in Danvers on August 1, 2009. This day was, coincidentally, the Feast Day of St. Alphonsus. It took just two months for a multitude of volunteers to scrub, paint, rebuild and repair the church before opening its doors for a public service on Sunday, October 4, 2009. This day was, appropriately, the Feast Day of St. Francis, whom God called to repair his Church. 400 people were in attendance.
The Rev. Timothy Wayne Clayton serves as Rector, with three Assistant Rectors, an Assistant Priest, and a Deacon on the clergy staff. Christ the Redeemer offers opportunities for growth in faith, with services held throughout the week, formation classes for all ages, spiritual direction and a healing ministry. Music pervades the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service, occurring as many as 16 times. This congregation is notably well-educated, but varies in age, socio-economically and in ethnicity. The range includes college/seminary professors and students, artists, missionaries, business people, the unemployed, many young couples with new babies. Christ the Redeemer's administrative offices are located at 85 Constitution Ln., Suite 200A, Danvers 01923 (behind the Liberty Tree Mall).
