Model Train Display by National Model Railroad Association at the Wenham Museum

 Enjoy a room filled with a classic H-O model train layout as the Wenham Museum hosts the members of the National Model Railroad Association Hub Division for the Martin Luther King Holiday Week-end.  

 Get tips on how to build your own model train layout and learn how to make scenery in demonstrations by model train engineers.

Special Musuem Hours on Monday, Jan. 21 from 10am to 4pm.   

  On Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11am discover the camaraderie of live steam model train collectors of the 1930s and 1940s in this newly published collection of essays.  Author Charles Purinton inherited his passion for model railroading from his grandfather, Carl Purinton, "the father of live steam in America" and founder of "The Brotherhood of Live Steamers" a nation-wide organization of live steam hobbyists.  Reserve your copy of the book by contacting The Museum Shop at 978-468-2377.
