More About Rebecca Nurse Homestead
The Rebecca Nurse Homestead is a private non-profit museum owned by the Danvers Alarm List Coy and is run by volunteer living history re-enactors. Situated on more than 25 acres of 300 acres once occupied by Rebecca Nurse and her family from 1678 to 1798, the Rebecca Nurse Homestead offers the public demonstrations, exhibitions, parades, living history encampments and battle reenactments. The property also features a reproduction of the 1672 Salem Village Meeting House, the Nurse family cemetery and the traditional salt-box home lived in by the Nurse Family, the only home of a person executed during the trials open to the public.
