Back to the Future, a gala auction to benefit St. John’s Prep, will take place Saturday, March 12 from 6 pm to 11 pm at the Crowne Plaza Boston North Shore in Danvers. The elegant evening will include dinner, an exciting auction, a $10,000 raffle, music and dancing. Headmaster Alfred J. Shannon and his wife, Mj, will be honored during the evening for their role in the life of the school. Dr. Shannon, who has served as headmaster since 2001, will retire in June.

The auction will offer a tempting array of items for every interest, including premier seating for Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins games; vacation packages in Marbella, Spain, and the Turks and Caicos Islands; golf at TPC Boston and the Salem Country Club; fine wines and gourmet dining. Tickets are $125 per person and reservations can be made online at www.stjohnsprep.org/gala. Reservations should be made by March 1.
