Today is Tuesday, Oct. 29. Here are five things to know today in Danvers.
- Danvers Community Access TV will be hosting its first ever Nightmare on Elm Street Tuesday for ages 2-10. There will be all sorts of Halloween-themed activities for the kids from 4-7 p.m.
- There's no Mall-o-Ween at the Liberty Tree Mall this year, but Mall Tots at Play is holding its own Halloween party Tuesday (noon to 4 p.m.) for kids age five and under. There will be candy, crafts, a real-life pirate on the pirate ship, a raffle, cookie decorating, a scarecrow-building contest, music and more. Pay $6 for each kid and adults with kids get in for free.
- You can also head over to the Boo Bash at the Northshore Mall on Tuesday, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Nordstrom wing of the mall.
- Bella Sera Bridal will be at the DoubleTree Boston North Shore Friday for a fashion fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. "Wishing on a Starry Night" is 6-11 p.m.
- America recycles and so does Danvers this weekend. The town is holding its annual two-day recycling event Saturday and Sunday at the high school parking lot by the tennis courts.
