Rising Stars Productions Seeks Choreographer
Rising Stars Productions seeks an experienced choreographer for its annual summer musical theater camp. Applicants must have the following qualifications:
Experience working with children
Experience with musical theater choreography

Ability to be flexible with teaching plans
Ability to teach a large group of children (ages 10-18) of all levels of ability in a fast-paced, intensive environment

Ability to work well and communicate with directors and other staff members
Responsibilities include:
Planning and teaching choreography and/or blocking for a wide variety of musical selections
Creating and providing demo videos of the choreography for home practice (video equipment provided, if needed)
Leading physical warm ups at the beginning of each camp day, and/or as requested by the directors
Providing updates to the directors and/or stage manager at the end of each camp day regarding students’ progress, rehearsal requests, concerns, etc.
Assisting the stage manager and intern with any backstage needs for the dress rehearsal and final performance, if necessary
Camp runs Monday, July 21-Friday, August 1 (performance Friday evening, August 1)
Required hours:
Monday-Friday July 21-25, and Wednesday & Thursday July 30 & 31: 8:30 am-1:00 pm
Monday & Tuesday, July 28 & 29: 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Friday, August 1: 8:30 am-1:00 pm, and 5:00 pm-9:00 pm (final performance)
Location: Union Congregational Church, North Reading, MA and Walter S. Parker Middle School, Reading, MA
Compensation: Competitive
