Danvers' Marshall and Moore Take Home Emmys

Bethany Marshall picked up another couple Emmys for her work at NESN while John Moore won his first for his work at Red Sox Productions.

Danvers residents Bethany Marshall and John Moore won themselves an Emmy or two at the 36th Boston/New England Emmy Awards.

Marshall, a senior producer/writer at the New England Sports Network, won awards both as part of a group under "Program Promo-Single Spot" and individually for superior writing.

She was the supervising producer for a Red Sox fan thank you and won for "Writer Short Form - Composite." She won a similar Emmy award last year as well.

Marshall is a 1999 graduate of Danvers High School.

Moore graduated in 1989 and now works as an editor/producer for Red Sox Productions, which is the team's official media production firm.

His share of the Emmy was as part of the creative team that put together: "A Look Back at the 1975 World Series, Part 1."

The series that year was played between Boston and the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds did win that one, 4-3, and the series is considered one of the best in baseball history.

The awards ceremony hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences was held June 1.
